PeraPeraChat is a chat service that uses AI to translate messages between different languages in real time.
Because the other person's messages are translated into your language, you can chat in your own language regardless of what language they use.
Select a tone—normal, friendly, formal, etc.—and your outgoing translations will match that style.
No app download or installation is required; everything runs in the browser.
The chat partner does not need to log in. By scanning the QR code (or opening the invitation URL), they can start a translation chat immediately, making it very easy to begin chatting.
Chats without login end automatically after a set time, but if the other person logs in, the chat can continue indefinitely—useful when a temporary chat becomes a longer-term friendship or business contact.
Chats are stored like in a messaging app and listed for later review. Add notes so you can remember who you talked with.

This site is free to use, but we have set certain usage restrictions. These restrictions may be changed without notice.

Because translations are done by AI, accuracy is not 100%.
Translations use the OpenAI API. If a message violates OpenAI's use policy, the translation may fail and return an error.
When both users share the same language, the translation API is not used; the message is sent as-is.
