Terms of Service

• Service refers to the real-time translation chat application "PeraPeraChat" provided by the Operator.
• Operator refers to the PeraPeraChat operating team.
• User refers to any individual or entity using the Service.
• Member refers to a User who has registered an account through the prescribed method.
• Guest refers to a User who temporarily uses the Service without registering an account.

Users agree to these Terms by using the Service, and consent is deemed to have been given at the time of starting use.

Minor Users must obtain the consent of a legal guardian before using the Service.

• Members must provide truthful and up-to-date information at the time of registration and update it as necessary thereafter.
• Members are responsible for managing their login information and must not allow third parties to use it.
• Transfer, lending, or creation of multiple accounts is prohibited.

• Users must prepare the devices, communication means, and software necessary for using the Service at their own responsibility and expense.
• The Service depends on external services (e.g., Pusher, OpenAI API), and the Operator is not responsible for any damages caused by their failures.

Users must not engage in the following actions:

1. Actions that violate laws or public order
2. Actions that infringe on the rights of third parties
3. Spam, fraud, excessive advertising, or other actions deemed inappropriate by the Operator
4. Actions that unduly increase the load on the Service or external APIs
5. Other actions deemed inappropriate by the Operator

The Operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users.

• The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of translation results.
• The Operator is not responsible for any troubles that occur between Users or with the Service.
• Even if the Operator is liable, the Operator's liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages, and the total amount is limited to the amount paid by the User to the Operator in the past 12 months.

• Intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Operator or the rightful owner.
• Content posted by Users on the Service may be used by the Operator free of charge for the operation and promotion of the Service.

If the Operator determines that a User has violated these Terms, the Operator may take measures such as usage restrictions or account suspension without prior notice.

If a User violates these Terms and causes damage to the Operator or a third party, the User is responsible for compensating for that damage.

The Operator may revise these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms will take effect when posted on the Service.

• These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
• In the event of a dispute related to the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
